Enjoy Each Other's Hobbies

    Being able to enjoy each other's hobbies is crucial when it comes to having a long-lasting relationship. This isn't to say you have to love absolutely everything that your partner does, but you need to at least be able to love some of the stuff your partner does. While people say opposites attract, this isn't always true. You need something in common at the minimum, but it is good to open your partner up to new experiences/hobbies. A new hobby that you introduce your partner to is a great date as this can be a fun and new experience for both of you! 


What Did I Do?

    Kandace and I recently traveled down to Florida together and I got the chance to show her how to surf! I have been surfing for over two years now and always thought it was fun, but it was missing an element; a partner! While I've talked to others while surfing and it's been a great way to meet new people, there's something special about showing your partner one of your favorite hobbies. It was great being able to teach as well because in doing so it felt like our trust was building. I was setting her up for success rather than a gnarly wipe-out! Got no waves to catch yet, talk with each other! See a monster building in the distance, give your partner a push on the board, and watch them ride that wave to shore while giving some cheerleader hype!


Overall

    This was an experience I hope everyone can have. Even if it's not surfing, having a vacation with a partner is so relaxing, and building one's relationship is easy with all the fun memories packed along with it. For the surfing aspect though, this a great way to have some new, challenging fun! So overall, it's a 10 for me!

 Build Together... Through Clay! What Does This Mean?     Building something together can either be an at-home, DIY project or going to a business that sells builds that you can paint and chat. I mean, building is what got you a relationship right? We all have to build upon our relationship to keep the foundation tough and the pillars strong, and this is done through many ways like acts of service, dates, and other ways. The point is, that you are here together having fun while enjoying and inspiring what the other creates, and in the end, you get to have a physical reminder of the date that you can put in a safe spot to reflect on while relishing in a fond memory!
