Where Should I Go?
Here's the beauty of a date like this, it doesn't matter at all. As long as you aren't driving off a cliff this one should be a no-brainer. Grab your partner, get the keys, and away you go. The goal here should be talking and sightseeing. Even if it's the same old town you live in or the city, you two are here to talk about the future, current ambitions, and anything that comes to mind like, "That dude's hat is weird," or "Did you see that stunning house!" Just let the conversation flow at its natural pace and don't be afraid to ask random things because that's why you are here. Too many people are caught up in the game of trying to seem cool and nonchalant which turns into hurt relationships that never form any true meaning. Let's change this though and add some brownie points by bringing your partner to a special place to see something like a sunset or a cool thunderstorm rolling in.
Where did You Go?
Kandace and I took a drive around town through both the country and our suburbs area. This allowed me to show her places in the country that she had never seen while enjoying a pretty sunset. This helped us not only talk about the scenery but also our life stories and the different things we have experienced. Towards the end of the drive though we of course had to stop for a sweet treat and get some ice cream at Sylas and Maddy's which is both our first date spot and our favorite ice cream place in town!
Overall
While this may seem boring on the surface, it's up to you to make it entertaining through your talk and where you drive. This may not be my favorite date, but it helps establish if you and your partner can just be yourselves and talk freely. I feel this is huge as it can help keep that spark going and let you learn more about your partner!
We also got to drive around in my family heirloom, a Matco Diamante, one of 13 in the world!
